Their Kitchen: The Meadows Frozen Custard

Ice Cream. Frozen Custard. Fro-Yo. These are some of my FAVORITE WORDS in the world (and favorite foods)! One of my favorite local places to get a sweet treat is The Meadows Frozen Custard. With over 25 locations, it makes me so happy to know that we have one right in Greensburg! Plus, you get a good bit for your money. Seriously...look how much custard in this large Cookie Dough custard cone:

Some of my favorite things about this place...

1. Frozen Custard

Similar to ice cream, frozen custard is made with EGGS, rather than CREAM & SUGAR. Simply put, it's a bit creamier than ice cream. But hey, it still tastes AMAZING.

2. The Menu

The menu is OUTRAGEOUS. There are so many selections that it's an excuse to keep coming back to try new things. They have the classic desserts like cups, cones, sundaes, and milkshakes. They also offer Arctic Swirls (custard blended with candy, nuts, fruit, or cookies), Italian Ice, Gelati, Smoothies, Cakes, and 'Meadows Favorites.' These include INSANE desserts like Banana Splits, Strawberry Shortcake, Brownie Sundaes, Apple Dumpling Sundaes and so much more!

3. Custard Flavors

The Meadows has their regular chocolate and vanilla flavors daily, but they offer two different flavors that change every day. To keep track of the flavors, they offer a menu for their customers to take home, listing the 2 custard flavors and the yogurt flavor for each day of the month.
